As an independent studio, we believe in partnering with others to achieve our client's goals.
We thoroughly researched the adventure tourism industry, the region's culture, history, and natural landscape. We explored similar brands to identify opportunities for differentiation. Working closely with the NEAT team, we gained insight into their vision, mission, and values and understood their target audience and messaging.
Based on our research, we developed a brand identity and website that positions NEAT as a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to building a sustainable future for adventure tourism in the area.
The brand mark is a stylised representation of the North East's unique landscape, from the mountains to the sea and everything in between. The typography is clean and modern, with a strong, confident feel that conveys the organisation's leadership in the industry.
The website was developed to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of NEAT, showcase its collaborative partnerships and share the pillars of their work; Infrastructure, Promotion & Awareness, Networking & Collaboration, and Training & Education. Each of these pillars plays a crucial role in NEAT's mission to build a sustainable future for adventure tourism in the North East. The website provides valuable insights into NEAT's progress and achievements in each area.

Working with Paul from Bough on our new website and brand projects has been a pleasure—he instantly understood the look and feel we wanted to represent our work and fit with our sector. From concept through to finalised product Paul has been brilliant to work alongside, and we look forward to more partnership projects with him in the future.
